[Remote] Performance Media Buyer

It's Today Media is a group of motivated marketers specializing in acquiring and monetizing high-value users through large-scale paid traffic campaigns. They are seeking a hands-on Performance Media Buyer to manage paid acquisition across various platforms, optimize campaigns, and analyze performance data to drive results.
Responsibilities
- Aide in the Planning, launching, and optimization of paid acquisition campaigns across Google search/display, video, social, and native
- Build campaigns end-to-end: creative brief, audience setup, bid strategy, QA, tracking, iteration
- Analyze performance data against both front-end metrics (Cost-Per-Lead, CTR, CVR, ROAS) and downstream value (LTV, payback period, Total ROI) to take action on when to scale and when to reduce budgets
- Identify and test new ad networks, ad formats, and placements
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate creative production, copy variation, audience research, and analysis
- Create reports on what's working, what isn't, insights on why, and where you're moving budget
Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in direct response media buying preferred, but if you're fresh out of college and looking to impress, feel free to apply
- Proven ability to read campaign data and act on it — not just report it
- Strong instincts for direct response copy
- Working fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc)
- Self-starter mentality — you don't wait to be told what to test next
- Background in financial newsletters or other high-LTV direct response marketing
- Experience writing ad copy
- Experience creating useful tools through Claude-code
