  • Guaranteed Base Pay: $18.00 per hour during training and during offline hours (such as team meetings and coaching sessions).
  • Pay Per Experience Model: After successful completion of training, you will transition to a performance-based pay model where you are compensated for every completed customer conversation.
  • Uncapped Earning Potential: Our top-performing experts consistently earn $28+ per hour, with no cap on what you can achieve.

Key Responsibilities: Serve, Solve, and Sell

As a Customer Care and Sales Representative at arenaflex, you are the voice of our brand and the first point of contact for customers seeking help with their devices and technology. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Support: Evaluate and assist customers with concerns related to lost, stolen, or damaged devices, providing empathetic and efficient service throughout every interaction.
  • Product Sales: Actively sell arenaflex’s smart home products, device protection plans, and tech support solutions on every call, identifying opportunities to add value for the customer.
  • Technical Education: Clearly explain device capabilities, wireless carrier data product offerings, and company policies in a way that is easy for customers to understand.
  • Continuous Improvement: Meet and exceed performance goals, actively seek feedback, and apply coaching to grow professionally.
  • Escalation Management: Recognize when a customer issue requires additional expertise and escalate calls to the appropriate tier of support in a timely manner.
  • Relationship Building: Build lasting customer relationships by listening carefully, providing accurate information, and consistently demonstrating integrity in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For: Skills, Experience, and Attributes

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role, with a demonstrated interest in upselling and cross-selling products.
  • Retention Skills: Ability to learn, memorize, and retain detailed product information, customer details, and policy guidelines.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to providing care and precision for every customer issue, no matter how small.
  • Communication Style: Friendly, professional, and respectful demeanor, with strong skills in politely addressing customers, showing patience, and demonstrating empathy.
  • Adaptability: Flexible approach to meeting the diverse needs of customers and adapting to evolving business requirements.
  • Organization: Ability to multitask efficiently and accurately in a high-volume environment.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to efficiently resolve issues and meet customer expectations while maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Reliability: Proven track record of strong attendance and consistent performance.
  • Technical Setup: Ability to work 4–8 hours per day sitting at a computer in a distraction-free, ergonomically sound workspace, using a headset approximately 90% of the time.
  • Computer Literacy: Typing speed of 25–35 words per minute and ability to learn call center software quickly.
  • Hiring Assessment: Successful completion of a soft-skill scenario modeling and product knowledge assessment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of, or ability to learn, multiple hardware platforms and operating systems including Windows, Android, Blackberry OS, Apple iOS, wireless technology, wireless equipment, and related applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Skills: Fluency in a second language is a strong plus and may qualify you for additional opportunities.
  • Sales Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and customer experience goals and objectives in a metrics-driven environment.

Work-at-Home Requirements

To ensure you can perform at your best, arenaflex requires the following for all remote positions:

  • A distraction-free, ergonomically sound home office that meets arenaflex’s standards.
  • Minimum internet speed of 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload.
  • A hard-wired internet connection (Wi-Fi or hotspots are not permitted).
