What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be an essential part of our member support team, providing heart-driven service to millions of plan members. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Members with Pharmacy Benefit Plans: Serve as a trusted resource for members seeking information about their pharmacy benefit plans, helping them understand coverage, formularies, copays, and prescription processes.
  • Handling Inbound Calls: Take incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, answering questions related to prescription insurance, medication coverage, and plan benefits.
  • Providing Thoughtful Solutions: Use your problem-solving skills to offer practical, patient-focused solutions that simplify each member's healthcare experience and resolve their concerns on the first call whenever possible.
  • Documenting Member Interactions: Accurately record and document all member interactions in our systems, ensuring that information is up-to-date and easily accessible for future reference.
  • Navigating Multiple Systems: Use Windows-based applications and proprietary tools to look up member information, verify coverage, and process requests efficiently.
  • Completing Ongoing Training: Participate in regular training sessions to upskill and stay current on plan changes, new products, and best practices in customer service.

What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience interacting with customers, whether in a call center, retail, healthcare, or other service-oriented environment.
  • Computer Proficiency: Demonstrated comfort and competence using Windows-based applications, including the ability to navigate multiple screens, systems, and tools simultaneously.
  • Educational Background: A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
