Responsibilities
We're seeking a passionate and experienced health professional to join our team as a Camp Health Hero. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our campers and staff, providing prompt and compassionate care in a fun and supportive camp environment. You'll be responsible for... Delivering expert medical care: Assess and treat common illnesses and injuries, manage chronic conditions, and administer medications safely and effectively. Promoting a healthy camp experience: Educate campers and staff on safety, hygiene, and healthy habits, and collaborate with camp leadership to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Building positive relationships: Connect with campers, staff, and families, providing support and fostering a sense of trust and well-being.

Qualifications
Licensed Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina. Minimum 2 years of experience in ambulatory care, ideally with children and young adults. Current CPR and First Aid certifications with demonstrated experience in emergency management. Strong knowledge of safe medication use and storage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating sound judgment and quick decision-making. Commitment to the values and mission of youth development organizations.
