Description Our client, a growing leader within the geosynthetics and industrial materials industry, is seeking a driven Sales Engineer to manage and grow business within an assigned territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives on developing new business, maintaining strong customer partnerships, and becoming a trusted advisor within the oil & gas and erosion control markets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong hunter mentality paired with the ability to build long-term customer relationships across contractors, distributors, engineers, and industrial clients. Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage assigned sales territory through prospecting and relationship development
  • Present and sell products and solutions to new and existing customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solution-based products
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, distributors, engineers, and oil & gas customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and customer visits
  • Achieve and exceed territory sales and revenue goals
  • Maintain pipeline activity, forecasts, and CRM reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer support
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities
  • Travel throughout the territory to support customers and drive new business growth

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience required
  • Geosynthetics industry experience, specifically within oil & gas and erosion control markets, required
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestic required
