Remote SAT Tutor

We’re looking for tutors who can help high school students improve through structured weekly prep, mistake-pattern review, assigned practice, and clear accountability. This is not a generic homework-help role. Students need a clear plan, consistent follow-through, and practical Digital SAT strategy. What you’ll do: - Tutor students 1:1 online via our learnhaus platform - Help build weekly SAT prep plans based on score reports and diagnostics - Teach SAT Math and/or Reading & Writing - Review missed questions and identify mistake patterns - Assign targeted practice between sessions - Help students with pacing, timing, and test strategy - Write short session summaries after each session - Communicate clearly and professionally with LearnHaus and, when needed, parents Strong fit if you: - Scored 1450+ on the SAT or equivalent ACT - Are especially strong in SAT Math or Reading - Have tutoring or teaching experience - Can explain concepts clearly online - Are comfortable holding students accountable without being harsh - Can write concise, useful session notes - Are reliable with scheduling and communication Nice to have: - Prior SAT/ACT tutoring experience - Experience with College Board Bluebook practice tests - Ability to tutor both SAT Math and Reading/Writing - Experience helping students who need structure and motivation Logistics: - Remote / online only - US-based preferred - Independent contractor role - Flexible part-time hours - Typical student load: 1–2 students to start - Sessions are usually evenings or weekends - Pay based on experience and tutor band Apply To This Job
