Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate, detail‑oriented individuals who reside in Nevada (within 75 miles of 7251 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119) to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team as Remote Pharmacy Service Representatives. In this role, you will be the vital link between patients, insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and internal teams, ensuring that specialty drug therapies are processed accurately, efficiently, and with genuine care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, empathetic telephone support to patients receiving specialty medication therapy.
  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verification and revitalization of benefits.
  • Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system with precision.
  • Communicate copay amounts, collect payments, and manage authorizations in collaboration with insurance companies.
  • Partner with healthcare providers and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all interactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Escalate complex clinical or financial concerns to senior specialists while maintaining ownership of the resolution process.
  • Continuously update knowledge of specialty drug therapies, insurance formularies, and medical terminology to provide accurate information.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, quality audits, and performance improvement initiatives.

Training & Schedule

Training Duration: 4 weeks (PTO blackout period)

Training Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST

Post‑Training Schedule: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM PST (full‑time remote)

Qualifications – What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role handling a high volume of complex inquiries over the phone.
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications, Microsoft Office suite, internet navigation, and email platforms.
  • Demonstrated computer keyboarding skills with a strong aptitude for fast, accurate data entry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for translating technical information into clear, patient‑friendly language.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within pharmacy, benefits administration, or medical billing.
  • Familiarity with health insurance terminology, prescription benefits, and medical coding.
  • Experience using pharmacy information systems or electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex insurance authorization processes.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

Pay Range: $17.00 – $28.45 per hour (commensurate with experience, education, and location).
