Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individuals who reside in Nevada (within a 75‑mile radius of 7251 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119) to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team as Customer Service Representatives. In this remote, work‑from‑home role, you will serve as a vital link between patients, insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and internal pharmacy teams, ensuring that specialty medication orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and with the compassion our brand promises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, knowledgeable telephone support to patients receiving specialty drug therapy, addressing inquiries, concerns, and medication‑related needs.
  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verification of insurance benefits, copay collection, and authorization acquisition.
  • Enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system with precision, ensuring all data fields are complete and accurate.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal partners to resolve clinical or financial issues that may delay order fulfillment.
  • Identify, screen, and triage accounts receivable or clinical challenges, escalating complex cases to senior specialists when necessary.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, order statuses, and resolution steps within the CRM platform.
  • Adhere to strict privacy and compliance standards, safeguarding patient health information in accordance with HIPAA and arenaflex policies.
  • Participate actively in ongoing training sessions, performance reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to continuously elevate service standards.

Training & Schedule

Training Duration: 4 weeks (PTO blackout period)

Training Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST

Post‑Training Regular Schedule: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM PST (full‑time remote)

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role handling high‑volume, complex inquiries over the phone.
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email platforms.
  • Demonstrated computer keyboarding skills with a strong aptitude for data entry and accuracy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a compassionate, patient‑focused demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office while maintaining a professional, distraction‑free environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within pharmacy, benefits administration, or medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes, prior authorization workflows, and copay collection procedures.
  • Experience using pharmacy information systems or electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate complex clinical or financial scenarios.
  • Certification or coursework related to health care administration, patient services, or related fields.
