Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Engineer on the Security team at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer adoption, satisfaction, and long-term success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Customer Engagement and Discovery: Partner closely with sales teams and prospective clients to identify and qualify business opportunities, deeply understand unique security and compliance requirements, and uncover technical challenges that need resolution.
- Technical Strategy Development: Architect and propose comprehensive security solutions tailored to each customer's environment, developing clear technical strategies to overcome blockers and accelerate adoption of arenaflex's cloud security portfolio.
- Solution Demonstrations and Proofs of Concept: Design, build, and deliver compelling technical demonstrations, product showcases, proof-of-concept environments, and pilot programs that validate the value of arenaflex security offerings in real-world scenarios.
- Trusted Advisory Relationships: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives, Chief Information Security Officers, security architects, developers, and IT analysts, providing guidance on secure cloud architecture, threat mitigation, and compliance best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with product management, marketing, and engineering teams within arenaflex to relay customer feedback, advocate for feature enhancements, and ensure our security solutions continue to address evolving market needs.
- Thought Leadership and Content Creation: Develop and deliver technical content including white papers, product documentation, trial management guides, and response reports that highlight the strategic advantages of arenaflex security solutions.
- Industry Engagement: Represent arenaflex at industry conferences, customer sites, partner events, and technical forums, sharing expertise and building the company's reputation as a leader in cloud security.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes, and industry trends such as ransomware evolution, zero-trust architectures, and advanced attack frameworks, translating insights into actionable recommendations for customers.

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate a strong foundation in security, cloud technologies, and customer engagement:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in security, cloud-native architectures, or related fields, with a demonstrated track record in client-facing technical roles.
- Security Expertise: Deep knowledge of network security domains, including threat detection, malware analysis, cloud security posture management, identity and access management (IAM) systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) platforms.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

For this full-time remote position based in the United States, the annual base salary range is $35,000 to $45,000, with final compensation determined by role, level, location, and relevant experience.
