Position Overview
We are expanding our remote Conversion Improvement team and seeking dedicated, customer-focused professionals to join us as Customer Experience Chatroom Operators. Every single day, arenaflex facilitates millions of automated, humanized conversations on behalf of our enterprise clients. While automation is at the heart of what we do, we recognize that artificial intelligence is not infallible. There are moments when our natural language processor is not 98% confident in understanding a user’s intent, and that is precisely where you come in.
In this role, you will read consumer responses, interpret context, reply thoughtfully, and categorize interactions appropriately. You will serve as the human touchpoint that elevates our platform from merely functional to genuinely exceptional. This is a brand-new position designed to support arenaflex’s top-tier clients and most strategic use cases, and we are looking for individuals who are driven by customer service excellence, quick on their feet, and naturally empathetic.
To give you a sense of the work: imagine a user messages, “Where are my ID Cards?” This is not simply a question — it is the opening of a service-based conversation that requires thoughtful, context-specific guidance. Your mission is to provide articulate, appropriate responses tailored to the consumer, industry, and subject matter at hand. You will accomplish this by selecting from pre-written response options designed for the scenario, or by engaging in a custom dialogue when no canned response fits. Maintaining 98% accuracy or higher is essential, as your work is regularly audited for quality assurance and directly informs the ongoing training of our natural language model.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound messages through our chatroom platform in less than 30 seconds, addressing questions or concerns about products and services using point-and-click frequently asked question responses.
- Craft custom, ad-hoc responses that are relevant, appropriate, and fully compliant with the regulations and standards of the relevant industry and vertical.
- Escalate complex or sensitive conversations to leadership when necessary, ensuring the consumer receives appropriate support.
- Document recurring questions and emerging trends to support continual improvement of our response library and platform.
- Enhance the relevancy and clarity of canned responses based on real-world interactions.
- Maintain a 98% or higher accuracy rate in all response handling, as verified through random audits and quality assurance reviews.
- Achieve and sustain a Replies per Hour rate of 60 or more during all working hours.
- Contribute to additional projects and initiatives as assigned, supporting broader team and company objectives.
Hours and Schedule
This is a full-time remote position eligible for the complete arenaflex benefits program. Our chatroom operations are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide seamless support to our clients and their customers. We are actively hiring candidates for all time slots, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility in scheduling is a significant plus, and shift preferences will be discussed during the interview process.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Prior experience working in a customer service chatroom or live chat environment.
- Demonstrated experience writing responses to consumers in a real-time, chat-based setting.
- Familiarity with industries such as automobile insurance, health insurance, and prescription drug plans is highly valued.
- Unwavering professionalism in every interaction, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high standard of excellence and a commitment to accuracy.
- Advanced computer literacy and typing skills; the ability to type quickly and accurately without hunting and pecking is essential.
- Strong grammatical, spelling, and logical reasoning skills. All free-typed responses must be thoroughly grammar and spell-checked before submission.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliability and responsibility in adhering to a designated schedule.
- A dependable, high-speed internet connection and reliable WiFi.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A college degree is considered a plus.
