Why This Role Matters

As a Part‑Time Data Entry Associate, you will be the backbone of arenaflex’s donor stewardship process. Accurate and timely entry of donor gifts into the organization’s database enables the Development team to recognize supporters, generate insightful fundraising reports, and maintain compliance with donor intent. Your work directly fuels the financial engine that powers scholarships, coaching, and program expansion, making a tangible difference in the lives of thousands of students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Donor Gift Processing: Enter individual and corporate donations into the donor management system with precision, ensuring each gift aligns with donor intent and is recorded within established timelines.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of entered data, perform regular audits, and correct discrepancies to maintain a clean, reliable database.
  • Reporting Support: Generate and format fundraising lists, donor segmentation reports, and performance dashboards for the Development team and senior leadership.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Partner with National Development, Finance, and Information Technology teams to resolve data‑related issues, streamline workflows, and implement system enhancements.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of donor communications, acknowledgments, and reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Ad‑hoc Projects: Assist with special initiatives such as campaign data migration, donor outreach campaigns, and process‑improvement studies as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of professional data entry experience, preferably in a nonprofit or fundraising environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with donor database software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect) is strongly preferred.
  • Mission Alignment: A genuine commitment to arenaflex’s mission of expanding college access for low‑income students.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 lb, and to sit or stand for extended periods (minimum 7 hours per day).
