Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer‑focused Overnight Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at the arenaflex store located at 101 N Faulkenburg Rd, Tampa, FL 33619. As an Overnight Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of arenaflex during the night shift, ensuring that every customer receives prompt, friendly, and accurate service. You will handle cash transactions, promote product selections, maintain store standards, and collaborate with teammates to keep the store running smoothly from dusk until dawn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Greet each customer with a warm smile, answer questions, and provide product recommendations that meet their needs.
  • Cash Management: Operate the register efficiently, process sales transactions, handle cash, credit, and mobile payments, and ensure accurate cash drawer balances at the start and end of each shift.
  • Merchandising & Stocking: Restock shelves, rotate inventory, and assist with product placement to maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout.
  • Food Program Support: Prepare and serve food items according to arenaflex standards, ensuring safety, quality, and timely service.
  • Store Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, monitor store appearance, and address any spills or hazards promptly to uphold a safe shopping environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow associates to achieve daily sales targets, share ideas for process improvements, and support one another during busy periods.
  • Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or complaints with empathy, resolve issues quickly, and escalate when necessary to maintain satisfaction.
  • Attendance & Punctuality: Provide reliable, predictable onsite attendance, arriving on time for each overnight shift and adhering to scheduled breaks.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow all arenaflex policies, including health and safety protocols, cash handling procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable).
  • Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a fast‑food, convenience store, or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate a cash register and handle monetary transactions accurately.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible overnight hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical capability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours, lift up to 30 lb regularly, and occasionally lift up to 60 lb.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and basic computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and ability to prepare simple food items.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a retail setting.
