100% Remote Full-time Open now

About the Opportunity

Step into a pivotal role at arenaflex, where iconic consumer brands are imagined, crafted, and delivered to millions of guests every single day. The Owned Brand Management and Product Planning organization is the creative engine behind beloved product lines that balance trend-forward style with sustainable practices. We are a collective of pattern-spotters, design strategists, and packaging innovators who anticipate what the market needs before it even knows it needs it. If you are passionate about the intersection of data, design, and sustainability — and want your work to touch every category from apparel to home goods — this is your moment.

As a Packaging Strategy Lead – Data, you will shape the data backbone that supports packaging development across arenaflex's owned brands, exclusive partnerships, and travel packaging lines. Your insights will drive sales growth, deepen brand affinity, and ensure that every package on the shelf is guest-driven, on-brand, competitive, and category-relevant. This is more than a packaging role; it is a chance to influence how a globally recognized retailer approaches responsible, beautifully designed packaging at scale.

What You Will Do – Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Standards Development

  • Build foundational data requirements, taxonomy frameworks, and master data specifications that enable packaging design optimization and sustainability initiatives across all Owned Brand portfolios.
  • Partner with sourcing, design, store operations, marketing, supply chain, properties, and compliance program owners to define relevant data requirements and flexible standards that consistently reflect arenaflex's commitment to safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
  • Create and govern change management processes to ensure accurate packaging documentation across multiple systems and partner teams.

Training, Communication & Best Practices

  • Develop, manage, and deliver creative training programs and evergreen resources for both internal and external audiences to drive a comprehensive understanding of standards, specifications, and data accuracy best practices.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and consultation to support packaging optimization efforts, establish scalable best practices, and champion sustainability initiatives.
  • Use data to identify trends or issues — partnering with technology teams — to measure the effectiveness of training programs and communications.

Compliance, Risk & Industry Leadership

  • Evaluate data requirements, standards, and specifications to advance safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions aligned with industry standards and good engineering practices.
  • Consult with internal regulatory and legal experts to identify impacts on current data requirements, mitigate risks, and surface opportunities for compliant excellence.
  • Monitor industry trends and benchmark arenaflex's standards practices against the market, sharing insights and recommendations with the appropriate audiences.

Global Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership

    • Collaborate with cross-functional global partners across the United States, China, India, and other international locations to drive effective communication and roadshows around stated goal development, compliance, and data accuracy best practices.
    • Partner with arenaflex offices, product vendors, and packaging suppliers to align on shared goals and consistent execution.

Leadership & Culture

  • Provide leadership and guidance to others, driving effectiveness and efficiency in team results.
  • Cultivate and sustain a positive team culture by modeling behaviors consistent with arenaflex's core values of Inclusivity, Connection, and Drive.
  • Ensure ongoing, transparent communication to the team and support individualized development through regular performance feedback, coaching, recognition, and evaluation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
