JOB OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for providing graphic design support within the organization as required. In addition to print materials, candidate must be familiar with the creation of digital and social ads, web sites, eblasts, logos, etc. Position requires graphic design capabilities/skills in a PC environment working with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the design and layout of a wide range of print and digital materials including, but not limited to: flyers, brochures, data sheets, direct mail, trade show graphics, product packaging, instructions for use, newsletters, print advertising, signage, email templates, online advertisements, web pages, etc. Work with and accept direction from team members to ensure objectives are being met. 60% Create workflow to accommodate working on more than one project at any given time, complete all projects on time, within budget, and maintaining the highest quality standards. 10% Maintain internal project management to manage workflow, deadlines and assets, including image/file cataloging. 7.5% Work with other departments within the company to develop promotional materials, ad hoc requests as needed. 7.5% Responsible for 100% accuracy and proofing of all materials produced. Extremely detail oriented, while producing high quality work. 5% Keep abreast of developments in design software and PC operating systems. 2% Participate in special projects and performs other duties as required. 2% Self-motivated and work well in a team environment. 2% Proven ability to multitask multiple projects simultaneously, establish priorities, work well under tight deadlines and maintain deadlines. 2% Ability to work in a cross-functional team to satisfy the needs of the customer. 2% SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Strong understanding of industry practices High proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures Good planning/organizational skills and techniques Good decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task Strong verbal and written communication skills Good presentation and public speaking skills Good interpersonal skills Good conflict resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messages Ability to build partnerships at all levels within the company, begin to build partnerships externally Resolve complex issues in effective ways MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance. TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
