Position Summary

The Lead Retail Customer Service Associate is the front‑line champion of the arenaxflex store experience. You will master every facet of the business—from print production and graphic design to shipping logistics—while guiding customers through complex orders, providing expert pricing, and ensuring flawless execution. This role blends consultative sales, production oversight, and team leadership to create a seamless, high‑quality service journey for every client who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Consultative Selling

  • Engage customers with a friendly, knowledgeable demeanor, actively listening to understand their needs.
  • Provide accurate pricing, recommend appropriate arenaxflex products and services, and suggest alternatives that add value.
  • Guide clients through the ordering process for print, signage, graphics, and shipping, ensuring they feel confident in their choices.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns with empathy and decisive action, turning challenges into opportunities for loyalty.

Production Management & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the end‑to‑end production flow, guaranteeing that every job is completed correctly, on time, and to arenaxflex’s exacting standards.
  • Operate advanced printing and finishing equipment, including large‑format printers, cutters, laminators, and binding machines.
  • Set up and manage complex orders, multitasking between digital imaging, color correction, and finishing services.
  • Monitor job quality throughout the production cycle, performing final inspections and making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication across shifts to ensure continuity and avoid production bottlenecks.

Shipping Coordination & Logistics

  • Assist customers in selecting the most efficient shipping methods, explaining arenaxflex shipping options, routes, and rates.
  • Prepare parcels for shipment: wrap items, place them in appropriate containers, weigh packages, and affix accurate labels.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of shipping supplies and ensure the shipping area remains tidy and safe.
  • Coordinate pick‑up and delivery schedules, liaising with carriers and customers to guarantee timely fulfillment.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Provide on‑the‑job guidance to fellow consultants during your shift, modeling best practices in customer service and production.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members, delivering hands‑on training for POS operation, equipment usage, and arenaxflex policies.
  • Lead shift briefings, sharing daily goals, safety reminders, and performance metrics.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, helping management streamline workflows and reduce waste.

Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, process cash, credit, and check transactions, and ensure accurate change handling.
  • Complete daily financial paperwork, including sales reports, cash reconciliations, and bank deposits.
  • Adhere to arenaxflex standard operating procedures, as well as all legal, HR, safety, and security policies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in retail, graphic arts, or logistics is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a specialized retail or production environment, preferably with exposure to printing, signage, or shipping services.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to convey technical information in plain language.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for the duration of a shift, lift up to 55 lb, and frequently bend or twist at the waist and knees.
