We are currently hiring full-time Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our nationally recognized customer experience team. This is not a role for someone who simply reads from a script or processes orders. As a remote team member, you will work from the comfort of your own home while collaborating with a supportive network of teammates, coaches, and leaders. To be considered, you must reside in the state of Maine and be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime as business needs arise.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, every day will look a little different — and that is exactly what makes this role exciting. You will be the voice and the heart of our brand, helping customers with everything from finding the perfect product for a new puppy to resolving unexpected issues with grace and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging directly with customers who reach out through a variety of channels, helping them shop for their new pet, locate the ideal chew toy or accessory, and troubleshoot problems when something does not go as planned.
  • Researching and problem-solving to determine the most appropriate solutions for each customer, thinking proactively, and setting timely follow-ups to ensure full resolution of every contact.
  • Operating with genuine understanding, active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness when engaging with customers and teammates alike.
  • Embracing a willingness to learn every day, sharing and receiving feedback openly, and contributing to a culture of continuous growth and mutual support.
  • Collaborating with teammates, direct managers, and cross-functional partners using virtual tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams to maintain a highly engaged, customer-centric culture of collaboration.
  • Adapting quickly to changing business needs, shifting priorities, and new processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and security when handling sensitive customer information, in full alignment with company policies and applicable laws.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center, retail, or e-commerce environment.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and listening — as evaluated through a written assessment.
  • Fluency in both Canadian French (Québécois) and English, with the ability to switch seamlessly between the two languages.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability, including the capacity to maintain a phone conversation while navigating multiple computer systems and taking accurate notes.
  • Proficiency in using computers for data entry, rapid system navigation, and internet-based research to support customer inquiries.
  • Adaptability and resilience in the face of change, with the flexibility to shift schedules and work overtime as required by the business.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
  • Residency within the state of Maine.

Technical and Home Office Requirements

  • A dedicated, distraction-free work area large enough to accommodate a computer monitor and any additional equipment, free from background noise that could impact the customer experience.
  • A work environment that is acceptable for webcam use during meetings and training.
  • A reliable, wired, high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum of 30 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed. Candidates must be able to verify and demonstrate this requirement.
  • A cell phone or tablet capable of supporting two-factor authentication through the Okta Verify app, or alternatively, a device that can receive SMS messages and phone calls.
  • Note: arenaflex will provide the computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam. A traditional phone line is not required.
