The role involves performing exploratory data analysis, training and evaluating models, and improving model performance through systematic experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end machine learning solutions for complex, real-world prediction and modeling problems across tabular, text, image, and time-series datasets
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and data preprocessing to define appropriate modeling approaches and evaluation strategies
• Train, tune, and evaluate models using industry-standard frameworks and best practices, producing high-quality, reproducible reference solutions
• Review and validate the technical quality of machine learning projects and deliverables, documenting methodologies, assumptions, and results clearly
• Identify and execute systematic experimentation to improve model performance through iteration and rigorous evaluation

Skills

• Design and develop end-to-end machine learning solutions for complex, real-world prediction and modeling problems across tabular, text, image, and time-series datasets
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and data preprocessing to define appropriate modeling approaches and evaluation strategies
• Train, tune, and evaluate models using industry-standard frameworks and best practices, producing high-quality, reproducible reference solutions
• Review and validate the technical quality of machine learning projects and deliverables, documenting methodologies, assumptions, and results clearly
• Identify and execute systematic experimentation to improve model performance through iteration and rigorous evaluation
• Strong experience in end-to-end machine learning development, including data preparation, model training, validation, and evaluation
• Strong experience in Python and modern frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Strong experience in one or more specialized domains: tabular learning, NLP, computer vision, recommendation or ranking systems, or time-series forecasting
• Strong experience in model evaluation metrics, validation methodologies, and experimental design
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field from a top-tier institution
