[Remote] Regional Business Development Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Frontline Road Safety Group is the leading pavement marking company in North America, seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to support growth in their Skidabrader and Surface Preparation Technologies divisions. The role involves developing relationships with key stakeholders, conducting market research, and managing customer accounts while traveling extensively within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate a pipeline of opportunities to support growth within your assigned territory as you represent FLRG’s unique offerings
- Build and strengthen relationships with DOTs, AGC chapters, and general contractors in specific regions
- Position Skidabrader and Surface Preparation Technologies within Frontline Road Safety as strategic solution providers, highlighting safety, best in class offerings, and capabilities
- Perform market research to identify business opportunities, developing relationships with construction companies, transportation authorities, and state/local agencies
- Prepare and present sales proposals and attend industry events
- Manage customer relationships and accounts while traveling an average of 6–8 nights per month
- Provide product training presentations for customers as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and/or related industry experience
- 3+ years of business development, sales, project management, or estimating experience in roadway construction preferred
- Results-driven, self-starter mindset with a high sense of urgency
- Experience with asphalt and concrete operations and/or substrate work (e.g., paving, placement, surface preparation)
- Ability to review plans is a plus
- Background working with DOTs, general contractors, and public agency stakeholders
- Experience related to striping, grinding/grooving, milling, rumble strips, or similar roadway/bridge surface preparation technologies preferred
- Familiarity with highway and bridge construction, maintenance, and related equipment is a plus
