[Remote] Staff Cloud Engineer

They are seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the evolution and maintenance of their high-availability cloud infrastructure, with responsibilities including managing the Azure ecosystem and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution and maintenance of high-availability cloud infrastructure
- Manage the entire lifecycle of the Azure ecosystem, using Terraform for provisioning and Ansible for configuration management and OS-level orchestration
Skills
- 7 years of relevant work experience
- Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Adept at business intelligence
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Equivalent professional experience (10+ years) and high-level industry certifications may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
- Azure Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Monitoring & Observability: Experience setting up and managing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus/Grafana stacks to proactively catch 'Day 2' issues
- Team Leadership: Experience acting as a technical lead or 'player-coach' who enjoys documenting processes to prevent single points of failure
- Technical Communication: Ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to non-technical stakeholders or internal customers
