[Remote] Business Solutions Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. iBase-t is a company that specializes in software solutions, and they are seeking a Business Solutions Consultant to engage and align customers with their Solumina software. The role involves conducting workshops, creating user stories, executing functional testing, and addressing customer challenges to enhance the software experience.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate customer alignment to Solumina software functionalities and industry best practices
- Lead Business Blueprinting and User Story Workshop, including the *As Is* and *To Be* processes using iBase-t’s Agile / Solumina Implementation Methodology (SIM)
- Identifies the delta between current and future state processes
- Align standard functionality User Stories to the Customer’s Processes
- Identify and create new User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to support unique customer requirements
- Assist customers with iBase-t software deployment and system set-up
- Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate the deployed solution
- Support customer User Acceptance Testing
- Create complete customer project documentation
- Contribute to the validation of upcoming Product software releases
- Drive Product innovation based on project lessons learned
- Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement initiatives
- Encourages the understanding and use of AI
- Contributes to team’s continuous review of internal processes and procedures
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, business information systems, computing and information technologies, industrial/systems engineering
- 2 - 5 years of industry experience
- Passion for working with customers in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex business requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Well versed in multiple types of AI Engines and their uses
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Knows when to pivot work based on a customer's changing needs
- Effective Leadership and influencing skills to guide stakeholders and build consensus to shared goals
- Growth mindset with industry familiarity in complex manufacturing processes and a desire to keep up with the latest trends
- Self-starter with proficient time management skills and the ability to work remotely or at customer sites
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, database concepts, and integration design
- Understanding of the Agile Framework Scrum and Kanban
- Knowledge of process mapping, modeling, and visualization tools & techniques
- Travel 30-40% of work time
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
