Position Overview – Consultant, Global Equity (Remote)

arenaflex is seeking enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Global Equity team as Remote Data Entry Consultants. This entry‑level position is designed for candidates who may not have prior professional experience but possess a strong interest in finance, equity administration, and data integrity. You will work remotely from anywhere in the United States (the role is currently posted for Montana, but we welcome applicants nationwide) and earn a competitive hourly rate of $25.

In this role, you will support the end‑to‑end administration of performance‑share units (PSUs), restricted stock units (RSUs), and stock‑option plans. You will become an integral part of a cross‑functional team that ensures compliance, accuracy, and timely execution of equity‑based compensation programs for arenaxflex’s global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Auditing & Compliance: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly proactive data audits to verify operational compliance of equity‑based long‑term incentive (LTI) plans and stock‑plan enrollment processes.
  • Equity Transaction Processing: Accurately process the issuance, vesting, and settlement of PSUs, RSUs, and stock‑option awards, ensuring all entries are recorded in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Transaction Review: Review equity transaction activity—including exercise events, releases, and plan enrollments—to guarantee correct timing, pricing, and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Support: Research, track, and respond to inquiries from participants, HR partners, and external stakeholders, providing clear and timely explanations of equity plan mechanics.
  • Plan Administration Assistance: Support the delivery of equity‑based LTI award distribution and stock‑plan enrollment activities, collaborating closely with payroll, tax, and legal teams.
  • Ad‑hoc Reporting & Analytics: Generate ad‑hoc data analytics and reports that inform operational improvements, trend analysis, and strategic decision‑making.
  • Documentation Management: Review, maintain, and update equity administration policies, procedures, and documentation to reflect evolving best practices.
  • Additional Equity‑Related Tasks: Perform other equity‑plan administration duties as assigned, contributing to continuous process enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong interest in finance, equity compensation, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly.
  • Basic understanding of HRIS platforms (Workday experience is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Clear, concise communication skills—both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 1+ year of experience in stock‑plan administration, payroll, tax, accounting, or a similar discipline.
  • Familiarity with equity instruments such as stock options, PSUs, and RSUs.
  • Hands‑on experience with data‑entry or data‑validation tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exposure to global equity programs and cross‑border compliance considerations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data‑visualization tools.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Data Analysis: Ability to interpret large data sets, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A proactive approach to assisting internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working within cross‑functional teams spanning finance, HR, legal, and technology.
  • Problem‑Solving: Resourceful in troubleshooting data‑related issues and streamlining processes.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a remote, globally distributed environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ethical Judgment: Commitment to confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive equity data.
