Position Title: Executive Producer – Podcast & Storytelling (Volunteer)Organization: LoopRoots FoundationLocation: Remote (U.S. preferred; Phoenix-based candidates a plus)Commitment: 20–25 hours per week (flexible)About LoopRoots Foundation:LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting justice-impacted individuals and families through programs focused on transportation, mental health, housing, legal support, and reentry services. As part of our mission, we are launching a podcast and storytelling platform to amplify real voices and experiences from within the justice system and beyond.Position Overview:We are seeking an Executive Producer to lead the development of our podcast and storytelling platform, LoopStories: From the Inside Out. This role will be responsible for building the structure, tone, and overall direction of the program.This is a leadership role for someone who understands how to shape powerful narratives, guide meaningful conversations, and translate a mission into compelling content. You will define how stories are told, how episodes are structured, and how the podcast connects to the broader impact of LoopRoots Foundation.Key Responsibilities:Design and build the overall podcast format, structure, and storytelling frameworkDefine the tone, voice, and narrative style of the showDevelop episode outlines and story arcs for each guestGuide the host on interview approach and question developmentEnsure content balances authenticity, responsibility, and impactCollaborate with the media and creative team on production directionHelp identify and shape the types of stories that align with the organization’s missionEstablish a repeatable system for storytelling and episode productionQualifications:Experience in podcast production, journalism, documentary storytelling, or media developmentStrong understanding of narrative structure and story developmentAbility to work with sensitive subject matter in a thoughtful and responsible wayStrategic thinker with the ability to build programs from the ground upStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred:Experience launching or producing a podcast or media seriesBackground in social impact, justice reform, or human-centered storytellingExperience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizationsWhat You’ll Gain:Opportunity to build and lead a mission-driven storytelling platform from inceptionCreative ownership and influence over a growing media initiativeExposure through published content across major platformsCollaboration with a purpose-driven team working at the intersection of justice, community, and impactHow to Apply:Please submit:A brief introductionRelevant experience or portfolio (if available)A short outline of how you would structure a podcast episode focused on someone’s reentry journeyWe are looking for someone who can help us build something meaningful, responsible, and impactful from the ground up.LoopRoots Foundation Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
