Long-Form YouTube Editor - Cinematic Travel/Lifestyle Vlogs
I'm a content creator and founder documenting my life traveling the world working on super yachts and building my supplement business. I shoot all my own raw footage and need an editor to turn it into entertaining, story-driven long-form YouTube videos (10–30 min). This is a long-term, ongoing role, 1 video per week. I want one editor I can grow with, not a one-off. The style I'm after: A blend of cinematic and aspirational with strong vlog pacing and retention. References: Daniel Dalen & George Heaton for the cinematic, premium, aspirational feel William Goodge, Mike Thurston, Alfie Robertson for pacing, energy, and retention through story/talking segments The vibe: aspirational but raw. Day-in-the-life, behind-the-scenes, founder vlog. Luxury b-roll that looks beautiful, wrapped around a story that actually holds attention. A lot of my footage is stuff most people can't film: Ocean crossings, life onboard a super yacht, real moments. Your job is to make those feel like an event, not a slideshow. What you'll do: Full edit from my raw footage (organised, numbered, labeled in Dropbox) Storytelling/pacing: I'll provide structure and a content timeline; you bring it to life Color grading Sound design + music selection Light motion graphics / text where it serves retention You're a fit if you: Have a strong long-form portfolio (NOT just shorts/reels) — send links to full videos you personally edited Can make footage look cinematic and hold retention, show me both Are reliable with weekly deadlines and communicate clearly Work well with Dropbox and a revision/feedback platform (Frame.io a plus) To apply please read carefully (I ignore generic applications): Link 2–3 long-form videos you personally edited.
