Blender 3D Artist
About the Project I'm looking for a talented Blender artist to help create high-quality 3D environments, animations, and cinematic visuals for a growing faceless YouTube channel focused on storytelling, history, mysteries, technology, and documentary-style content. The goal is to create engaging visuals similar to modern documentary channels that use immersive 3D scenes, realistic lighting, camera movement, and cinematic storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D environments in Blender
- Model scenes, props, buildings, landscapes, and historical settings
- Set up realistic lighting and atmosphere
- Animate cameras and scene elements
- Create cinematic shots that support storytelling
- Optimize scenes for efficient rendering
- Work from scripts, storyboards, or creative direction
- Deliver Blender project files and rendered sequences when requested
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Blender
- Experience with:
- Environment design
- Lighting and rendering
- Camera animation
- Materials and texturing
- Geometry Nodes (preferred)
- Particle systems and simulations (preferred)
- Ability to create cinematic compositions
- Understanding of storytelling and visual pacing
- Good communication and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating documentary-style visuals
- Knowledge of history, technology, or educational content
- Familiarity with After Effects or DaVinci Resolve
- Portfolio demonstrating environments, lighting, and animation work
