Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative on our overnight shift, you'll be responsible for

  • Engaging with clients through both outbound and inbound calls, providing solutions and support to customers in a professional, sensitive, and tactful manner.
  • Analyzing and appraising loan applications using various software tools to initiate the loan process, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintaining precise documentation of all account interactions, including customer records and financial transactions.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with customers, providing timely and accurate information to resolve their inquiries and concerns.
  • Handling card payments and processing financial transactions with accuracy, ensuring seamless and secure transactions.
  • Staying informed about the latest in lending practices and financial services, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Creating and updating customer records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly performance goals as established by management, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage difficult situations with courtesy and calm, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Effective multitasking skills, capable of managing conversations while entering data and navigating multiple systems.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, previous experience in financial services or customer support is highly desirable, as is familiarity with cloud-based technologies and systems. If you have a background in finance or customer service, you'll be well-equipped to excel in this role. Working Conditions This position requires sitting and talking for extended periods, with the ability to work in a quiet and distraction-free environment. The role operates on a fixed overnight schedule from 11 PM to 7 AM, with remote work setup necessary following the initial training period.
