Product Photographer HydroJug | Ogden, Utah | Full-Time, On-Site About HydroJug HydroJug is a hydration and lifestyle brand built to help people drink more water and feel their best. From our flagship jugs to our growing line of accessories and apparel, our products are designed to make hydration easier, more stylish, and part of everyday life. We are a fast-moving, brand-led company where creative work has a direct impact on how customers discover and experience our products.

About the Role

We are hiring an in-house Product Photographer to own product imagery across our website, marketing channels, and creative campaigns. This role exists because product photography is the front door to our brand, and we want a dedicated photographer who can deliver consistent, high-quality images at the speed our business moves. You will shoot everything from clean white-background product images for our website to stylized, creative product photography that brings the brand to life. You will manage your own studio setup, lighting, and post-production workflow, and you will be the person responsible for color accuracy and visual consistency across every image we produce.

Key Responsibilities

Product Photography

  • Shoot clean, consistent white-background product photography for the website and ecommerce channels.
  • Capture creative, stylized product photography for marketing campaigns, social, email, and brand storytelling.
  • Plan and execute shoots from concept through final delivery, including prop styling, composition, and lighting design.

Studio and Lighting

  • Manage your own studio setup, including lighting design, modifiers, backdrops, and tabletop staging.
  • Maintain studio gear, organize the space, and keep everything shoot-ready.
  • Build and refine repeatable lighting setups so output stays consistent across sessions.

Retouching and Post-Production

  • Retouch, color-correct, and resize all images for their intended use, from web to print to social.
  • Maintain strict color accuracy and consistency across every product, every shoot, and every channel.
  • Deliver final, channel-ready files in the formats and specs requested by stakeholders.

Workflow and Asset Management

  • Manage your own shoot calendar, intake, and file delivery workflow.
  • Keep image files organized, named clearly, and easy for the rest of the team to find and use.
  • Partner with marketing, ecommerce, and creative teammates to align on shot lists, deadlines, and creative direction.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of professional product photography experience.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates both clean ecommerce product photography and stylized creative work.
  • Strong command of studio lighting, including the ability to design and execute setups independently.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain color accuracy and visual consistency across large volumes of imagery.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage your own shoot workflow, files, and timelines.
  • Able to commute to and work full-time, on-site at our Ogden, Utah office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shooting for a consumer brand, ecommerce business, or DTC company.
  • Experience with tethered shooting and capture software such as Capture One.
  • Comfort contributing to creative concepting, mood boards, and shoot planning.
  • Some exposure to video or motion content for social and digital channels.
  • Background in lifestyle, hydration, fitness, beverage, beauty, apparel, or other visually driven consumer categories.

Success in the First 12 Months

  • You have established a consistent, repeatable look and feel for product imagery across the website and marketing channels.
  • White-background and ecommerce imagery is delivered reliably and on schedule, with no color or consistency issues across SKUs.
  • You have produced standout creative product photography that has been used in campaigns, on social, and across owned channels.
  • Studio operations, file organization, and your shoot workflow are running smoothly with minimal oversight.
  • Cross-functional partners trust you to take a brief and deliver imagery that is on-brand, on-time, and high-quality.
