[Hiring] Fertility Genetic Counselor @MD-IT Transcription Services LLC

Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Fertility Genetic Counselor. Preference will be given to applicants who are already ABGC certified. The Fertility Genetic Counselor will be responsible for:

• Providing individualized guidance on genetic testing and interpretation.
• Counseling patients and families on genetic risk.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers.
• Reviewing patient histories.
• Coordinating genetic tests.
• Analyzing test results.
• Conducting patient consultations.
• Providing comprehensive genetic counseling for fertility and preconception cases, including:
• Expanded carrier screening counseling.
• Donor match consults.
• Donor embryo reviews.
• Pre- and post-PGT consults.
• Coordination of family studies genetic testing.
• Providing additional coverage of prenatal care if needed.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Conducting ongoing research in the field of genetics.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of genetic testing and genetic inheritance.
• Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare providers and patients.
• Interpretation skills related to genetic testing results and personal/family histories.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling.
• Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
