Job Details Java Backend Developer Long Term Contract Columbus, OH - 100% Remote We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have experience in Java-based technologies and a strong understanding of backend development principles.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend applications using Java. Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Ensure code quality and follow best practices. Required Skills Strong experience in Java development. Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Git and version control tools. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Microservices architecture. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
