Senior Automation QA Engineer
Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine. About the role: As a Senior Quality Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working on our innovation projects. The role is required to be comfortable working against projects early on in their lifecycle and dynamic requirements. The engineer should be skilled in system design and able to target specific levels of testing where needed. An understanding of Risk Analysis is ideal as is working with mobile apps, web applications, apis and LLMs. About Client: With almost 100 million active users across 25 countries, they’re a global food tech company. Responsibilities: Understand our systems and what we are trying to create Help guide developers on what levels of testing should be included as part of their development work Scope out and help execute integration tests Contribute to our release testing regression pack Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness Target the level of testing needed for projects at different stages of developement Work across teams to unblock engineers and provide confidence in their work Participate in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Java Continue to improve our ways of working Requirements: 5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation of Web and backend/API testing Experience writing and maintaining code, whether automation or as a developer Excellent knowledge of different testing methods, techniques, types, and methodologies Experience in the creation or active maintenance of test documentation Coaching developers and working with other QEs to achieve results Experience in the creation of automation frameworks from scratch An understanding of different tools used for automation Experience with BDD, ATDD, or TDD approaches Experience with implementation of continuous integration processes and tools, CI/CD pipelines Experience of working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban development environment Good English skills – Upper-Intermediate and above Being comfortable with the unknowns Desirable: Knowledge of microservices and event driven architecture Knowledge of mobile automation Knowledge of web automation Experience with risk management Experience with compliance testing An understanding of product data analytics What`s in it for you?
