Freelance Motion Designers (New York Based)
Phoenix Media Group is currently on the search for New York-based Designers with strong 2D or 3D animation skills and emphasis on design to join our team on a freelance basis. This is for a specific project happening in early May 2026. We are looking for Designers with experience in: Infographics, Type Animation and Layout, Broadcast Design Elements Styleframes Executing motion animations based on existing designs Ability to assemble treatments for presentations Conceptualizing / brainstorming visual ideas Managing time and giving accurate assessments of workload Quality Control Ideal candidates are: Self-starters, willing and comfortable communicating both roadblocks and ideas Comfortable managing feedback Good attitude! Love what they do Fluency in a production pipeline including versioning, file formats, with strong organizational skills Key Software: AfterFX Photoshop Illustrator C4D / Redshift Added bonus: Premier Pro, Figma, Canva, Google slides This role offers a day rate between $600-$850/day DOE.
