Job Summary

As a Temporary Daytime Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through inbound calls, emails, and chats. You'll be the face of our company, and your interactions will shape the customer experience. If you're a quick learner, a team player, and a problem-solver, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

* Manage large volumes of inbound calls in a timely and efficient manner

  • Follow established communication scripts to handle various customer topics
  • Identify customer needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Access company and client resources to accurately handle customer inquiries
  • Seize opportunities to upsell products and services when they arise
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
  • Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions
  • Cross-train as requested to expand your skill set and contribute to the team's success

Qualifications

* Previous 3-6 months of customer service or customer support experience (a plus)

  • Previous 3-6 months of call center or office background experience (a plus)
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Quick learner and ability to work independently
  • Type 20-25 words per minute accurately
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • A background check will be required to comply with state and federal laws

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

* Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds)

  • Work hours: Shifts between 8:00am-8:00 pm (EST); Work Days: Mon-Fri and rotating weekends
  • Paid Training: Typically 2-5 days in length from 9:00am-6:00pm (EST)
  • Status: Part Time or Full Time/Temporary; 20-40 hours per week

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Requirements

As a Temporary Daytime Customer Service Representative, you'll be required to provide your own equipment and workspace. You'll need to have:

  • Verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed is required to support business needs)
  • An established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection)
  • A laptop or desktop computer that meets the hardware and software requirements (see below)

Hardware/Software Requirements

* Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater

  • Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
  • Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
  • USB headset
  • Up-to-date antivirus software must be installed on the platform and a recent scan completed
  • Firewall must be enabled
