We're looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to spearhead the delivery of data-driven solutions for game studios, driving customer onboarding, and fostering a data-centric culture within client organizations. As a trusted analytics advisor, you'll translate business goals into measurable data strategies, provide ongoing consultation, and promote best practices for data-informed decision-making. Responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst on our Customer Success team, you'll be responsible for:

Customer Onboarding:

Drive the customer onboarding process for our behavior analytics platform, including data collection design, SDK and event validation, and dashboard setup.

Strategic Partnership:

Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to customers, translating their business goals into measurable data strategies for collection, analysis, and reporting.

Ongoing Consultation:

Provide ongoing consultation to support customers' digital transformation and promote best practices for data-informed decision-making.

Analytics Best Practices:

Research and curate analytics best practices tailored to various game genres, lifecycle stages (e.g., soft launch, LiveOps), and business models (e.g., IAP, IAA, hybrid).

Deep-Dive Analysis:

Conduct deep-dive descriptive and diagnostic analysis to identify gameplay trends, monetization bottlenecks, and user segmentation opportunities.

Product Support:

Provide responsive product support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver on-site or remote training.

Knowledge Sharing:

Contribute to internal knowledge bases, documenting analytical techniques, success stories, and game-specific metric frameworks.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Bachelor's Degree or Higher:

In Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

5+ Years of Experience:

In data analytics, with a preference for experience in gaming or digital product environments.

Strong SQL Skills:

Proven experience building reports and dashboards.

Business Metrics:

Experience defining and analyzing key business metrics such as retention, LTV, and conversion funnels.

Analytics Integration:

A solid understanding of how analytics integrates with product development, marketing, and operations.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Proactive Mindset:

A proactive, self-motivated individual who is comfortable working with both customers and internal teams.

Big Data Technologies:

Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., data lakes, ETL pipelines) is preferred.

Product Analytics Platforms:

Experience with product analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, GameAnalytics, Mixpanel) is a plus.

Game Analytics:

An understanding of LiveOps, A/B testing, and in-game economy metrics is desirable.

Balancing Act:

The ability to balance hands-on analytics with customer-facing responsibilities.
