Senior Accountant
Senior Accountant Location: Fully Remote, US Based Company: Gravyty About Gravyty Gravyty is a fast-growing SaaS company that brings modern technology to social good by helping organizations, specifically nonprofits, colleges, and hospital fundraisers, build meaningful relationships with donors through technology and data-driven engagement solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats across the accounting and finance function. Position Overview The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, reconciliations, financial reporting support, and ongoing process improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and excited to contribute within a fast-paced SaaS environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, exceptional reconciliation experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Responsibilities
Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies or variances Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation Support accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other general ledger activities Partner cross-functionally with teams including FP&A, Revenue Operations, and Payroll Assist with audit requests and external reporting requirements Support billing, AP, AR, and other operational accounting activities as needed Help optimize workflows and reporting within NetSuite and related systems Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives in a growing SaaS environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience required SaaS industry experience strongly preferred CPA preferred, but not required Strong reconciliation and general ledger experience required Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Advanced Excel skills preferred Systems Experience Experience with the following systems is strongly preferred: NetSuite Salesforce Airbase What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating in an environment where priorities can shift quickly.
