Location: Nationwide (Remote) Position Overview: Leading Property Management company is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Regional Vice President (RVP). The is a dynamic and strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and growing a portfolio of single-family properties within a designated region. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence, maximizing financial performance, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to both property owners and residents. The RVP will lead regional and local property management teams, champion company initiatives, and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative culture. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Direction

  • Develop and execute regional property management strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach regional and local property management leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish and achieve financial and operational targets for the region.
  • Champion change management efforts across the region to support strategic initiatives and process improvements.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure all properties are managed in alignment with company standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor KPIs and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Drive operational efficiency and standardized best practices to maximize asset performance and profitability.

Financial Management

  • Manage regional budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Use strong business acumen to improve profitability, control costs, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis and ROI of process improvements and key business initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Client Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, residents, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support business goals and optimize regional performance.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to executive leadership on regional operations.

Talent Management & Development

  • Recruit, retain, and develop top-tier property management professionals.
  • Execute a regional talent strategy to build bench strength and support succession planning.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive culture rooted in trust, transparency, and teamwork.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure all operations comply with federal, state, and local laws, including fair housing and ethical business practices.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, tenant concerns, and legal issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in property management, real estate operations, or asset management, with a strong focus on single-family rentals.
  • Proven track record of delivering strong financial results and leading high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of property management operations, financial analysis and regulatory compliance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing, negotiating, legal, environmental, and construction aspects of single-family residential property management.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, inspire confidence, and motivate teams to thrive in dynamic and challenging environments.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and influence diverse and distributed teams.
  • Proficiency in property management software and industry best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications/licenses a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
