Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to insurance agencies through inbound phone calls. Your primary tasks will include:

  • Gathering and verifying customer information
  • Entering data into forms
  • Answering questions about insurance policies
  • Resolving customer issues and concerns
  • Providing product information and recommendations
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Gather and verify customer information, including policy details and contact information
  • Enter data into forms and maintain accurate records
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a fair and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer support skills

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of experience in customer support or a related field

  • High-volume call support experience (minimum 500 calls per month)
  • Strong data entry skills (minimum 45 WPM)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the insurance industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong typing skills (minimum 60 WPM)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal teams
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
