. This hybrid role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in driving cutting-edge research, developing novel scientific methodologies, and contributing to groundbreaking discoveries. The Principal Scientist will play a pivotal role in guiding research initiatives and mentoring junior scientists. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage complex research projects in molecular biology, from experimental design to data analysis and publication. Develop and implement novel molecular biology techniques, assays, and protocols to address specific research questions. Independently design, conduct, and interpret experiments related to genomics, proteomics, gene expression, and other molecular mechanisms. Analyze and interpret large datasets using bioinformatics tools and statistical methods. Author high-impact scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at national and international conferences. Secure research funding through grant writing and proposals. Mentor and supervise a team of research associates, postdoctoral fellows, and junior scientists, providing scientific guidance and career development support. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including chemists, biologists, and data scientists, to achieve project goals. Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety regulations and ethical guidelines. Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements and emerging technologies in molecular biology and related fields. Contribute to the strategic direction of the R&D department and identify new areas for scientific exploration. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a closely related field. Minimum of 10 years of postdoctoral research experience in a relevant scientific discipline, with a strong publication record. Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, DNA/RNA manipulation, sequencing, cell culture). Proven experience in leading independent research projects and securing external funding. Strong proficiency in bioinformatics tools and statistical analysis software. Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly. Proven ability to mentor and lead scientific teams. Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 technology and/or advanced imaging techniques is highly desirable. Strong understanding of scientific principles and research methodologies. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment.
