National Account Manager - Ecosurfaces_Sales

Location: 715 Fountain Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601 West Coast Territory Base Salary expectations $95k-$115K plus commissions We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to oversee and grow key partnerships within our Commercial Division. This role is responsible for managing high‑value national accounts, driving specification‑based sales, and strengthening relationships across the design and commercial flooring community. You will partner closely with architects, designers, specifiers, and our distribution partner, Spartan Surfaces, to expand market share and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This position is ideal for a strategic, relationship‑driven sales professional with deep industry expertise and a proven track record of growing complex accounts. What You’ll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for Spartan Surfaces team members across your assigned geography. Build strategic relationships to drive sales growth of Ecosurfaces products. Work directly with architects, designers, specifiers, and owners to secure product specifications. Build and manage a robust project pipeline using tools such as ConstructConnect and Salesforce. Collaborate with Spartan Surfaces to close specified projects and maximize revenue opportunities. Develop account-specific strategies to meet client needs and elevate long-term partnerships. Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and industry opportunities. Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product development, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery. Prepare sales forecasts, account performance reports, and progress updates. Proactively address client challenges and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. Mentor internal and external team members, sharing best practices and supporting professional growth. What You Bring Deep understanding of the commercial flooring industry, including trends, product needs, and customer expectations. Proven success managing large national accounts and developing long-term relationships. Strong sales acumen with the ability to secure high-value deals and consistently achieve targets. Experience developing specifications within the design community. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage senior leaders. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess account performance and uncover growth opportunities. Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to lead, mentor, and contribute to a positive, high-performance sales culture. Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). 10+ years of experience in commercial sales, ideally within building materials, construction, or manufacturing. Proven track record of managing complex accounts and driving profitable growth. Demonstrated success in obtaining specifications through architects, designers, and other decision makers.
