Experienced Customer Service Representative – Healthcare Industry Expertise

Join Our Mission

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences to our patients and referral sources. You'll be part of a collaborative team that's committed to excellence, innovation, and making a positive impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answer incoming phone calls from patients, responding to their inquiries and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Accurately enter new patient information into our company computer system, including name, address, diagnosis, physician, product needs, and insurance
  • Obtain written orders from physicians, verify insurance, and generate orders
  • Ensure patients and referral sources are kept up to date on order status
  • Daily processing of purchase order exception reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 3 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in an administrative role
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to answer a high volume of calls
  • Experience working with computers and data entry
  • DME experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, or communications)

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting with a focus on customer service
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT)
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS)

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and data entry systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
