As a key member of our division, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch support to new and existing payers and providers, ensuring seamless account setup, maintenance, and acceptance of medical bills, payments, and other insurance-related processes.

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Care Specialist to join our team. As a remote worker in the US, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner, and consistently delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone or email, providing timely and accurate solutions to their issues
  • Escalating and monitoring critical issues that require coordination with internal departments and external business partners
  • Creating and monitoring Code Red issues to determine the necessary communication with internal or external stakeholders
  • Reproducing issues on behalf of customers and assisting in verifying fixes, account setup, and other related tasks
  • Accurately documenting all communications, research documentation, and relevant information in our Client Support ticketing system (Zendesk)
  • Evaluating and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Consistently providing customers with status updates for outstanding inquiries and issues
  • Directing and escalating requests internally for unresolved issues
  • Obtaining all relevant information with a high level of detail to effectively handle inquiries
  • Developing and maintaining rapport with customers
  • Identifying trends for process improvement
  • Performing other duties as requested by management

Skills and Experience Required

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong advocate of customer service principles and practices
  • 3+ years of experience in a call center or customer care environment
  • Experience with medical billing and a strong understanding of the workers' compensation and/or group health insurance industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products
  • Proven technical experience and demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Verbal and written communication skills that are professional and polished

  • Experience with X-12 File formats and online customer service ticketing systems for email and phone inquiries
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
