About the Role

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in our front-end pharmacy team. You'll be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service to our customers. A Day in the Life

As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to providing a supportive and innovative environment for all members. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
  • Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
  • Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law

  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in the long-term care industry

  • PTCB National Certification
  • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
