The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for scheduling in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners, answering inbound calls from members, and ensuring that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolving any scheduling issues or concerns. This is a high-volume, customer service environment, and you will need to be efficient, productive, and thorough in dealing with our members over the phone. You will also need to be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.

Responsibilities

* Call members to schedule in-home visits with a physician or a nurse practitioner

  • Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries
  • Ensure that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concerns
  • Work in a high-volume, customer service environment and be efficient, productive, and thorough in dealing with our members over the phone
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours

Requirements

* High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1 year of work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook (create, edit, save, and send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM local time from Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the healthcare industry

  • Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare
  • Experience working in a customer retention-focused role

Telecommuting Requirements

* Reside within the Eastern or Central Time Zone

  • Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • Ability to connect directly into the internet via hard wire (either directly to modem or router)

Soft Skills

* Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens

  • Experience working in a metric-driven work environment
  • Experience using an auto-dialer system
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. arenaflex complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, arenaflex offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
