International Freight Sales Account Rep & Lead

Job Type: Full time Contractor Pay: Base: $2000/mo; On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000 – $140,000+ annually Job description: Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Freight Forwarding Sales Contractor to join our International team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, a deep understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding industry, and the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships. This role will involve identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are one of the few End-to-end solutions & growth partners for Global Ecommerce brands & sellers. We not only understand Logistics and Ecommerce, but actually bring real extensive growth capabilities to Brands across their Global Ecommerce journey, at every leg of that journey. We service new mom-pop startups to Global Top #1 Category leaders. Our Logistics & Supply chain side service capabilities are extensive: China Origin services: Inventory consolidation and consolidated warehousing management from multiple suppliers; product inspections and origin stock management for spoke-wheel outbound multi-destination distribution. Inter-module services: Global Express, Air, Ocean, Trucking, DDU/DDP, Door to Door, Door to Port, Port to Port Destination services: US warehousing, Pick-Pack-Ship, High-value goods returns inspection & product refurbishment Our reach is from China to most parts of the world, with 80% focus to US/CA and UK/EU markets, and 20% across the Middle east and Japan. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Outbound Sales funnel from prospecting to closing.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet individual and team sales objectives.
  • Identify potential clients and expand the client base within the logistics industry.
  • Offer expert consultation on freight forwarding services, including shipping routes, documentation, and customs clearance.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, staying abreast of market trends and competitors.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using the CRM system.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, including new shipping regulations and market opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Lark/Teams/Slack and CRM – remote software.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work a limited of hours, daily, that cross-over with Asia team

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8 Hours per week
  • Min 2 Hours per day cross over time with China Team (Monday-Thursday)

Experience:

  • Freight Forwarding: 3 years (Required)
  • Sales: 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Native)
