Regional Director, Food & Beverage - Northeast
Diamond Baseball Holdings Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) was formed in 2021 to shine a light on the slice of Americana that is Minor League Baseball. In 2025, more than 5M fans will enter our gates, and we aspire to make every fan’s experience memorable. The Regional Director, Food & Beverage will work with the RVPs and GMs to develop a high quality fan experience that achieves revenue growth and margin expansion. Success in this role requires the ability to engage in all facets of running an F&B operation from inspiring front-line employees to deliver exceptional customer service to managing vendors to achieve margins, to pricing and packaging optimization to drive top-line growth, to developing a multi-year plan including off-season revenue generation, and more. This leader will need immediate credibility for their knowledge of F&B operations with the organization, partners, and front-line employees, while at the same time, “thinking bigger” about how we can create an organization and operating model that will scale as DBH continues to add more clubs.
Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience leading F&B operations (preferably in a sporting venue) to deliver a high quality fan experience and financial outcomes
- Adept management of F&B resources and large, on the ground workforces
- Proven success hiring and developing talent into future leaders
- Previous experience developing and delivering an operating plan and budget
- Intimate knowledge of multiple aspects of F&B venue operations for sporting and other events
- History of negotiating and managing 3rd party vendors – e.g. SLAs
- Familiarity with computerized POS systems and operational systems that run a venue a plus
- Demonstrable knowledge of F&B pricing and packaging techniques and analytic horsepower to assess outcomes
- Ability to communicate and share a passion for the fan experience
