  • Develop clear policy positions and external messaging that explain Rain’s technology and its role in the financial ecosystem
  • Advise internal teams on regulatory strategy as Rain expands into new markets, products, and partnerships
  • Help build a long-term government relations function and strategy that scales with Rain’s growth globally

You are likely to succeed if you have:

  • 12+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs related to financial services, payments, fintech, or digital assets

  • A strong network across policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders in financial services
  • Experience building strategy in fast-moving or highly regulated environments
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate independently and build a new function in a startup environment

Bonus attributes:

  • Experience working on policy related to stablecoins, digital assets, or blockchain infrastructure
  • Prior experience at a fintech, payments company, card network, or financial institution
