Direct Response Copywriter at IncubatorLab Remote - Worldwide Incubator Lab is looking for a talented Direct Response Copywriter to join our thriving team! Role Objective: You will write the scripts, hooks, prelanders, product pages, and checkout copy that stop the scroll, drive the click, and convert the visit. You aren’t writing “brand poetry” —you are writing high- conversion copy across the entire paid media funnel, from the first frame of the ad to the final upsell, based on psychological triggers and performance data. What You’ll Do: Write scripts for 15–60 second video ads (Meta/TikTok). Develop 10+ hook variations for every single creative concept. Write compelling ad body copy and headlines for paid social placements. Write long-form prelanders—including listicles, advertorials, and pre-sell articles—designed to warm up cold traffic before the offer. Write Product Pages (PDPs) and checkout flow copy: above-the-fold hooks, benefit bullets, objection handling, FAQ, guarantee language, and upsell/downsell copy across the post-purchase sequence. Analyze performance data to double down on winning angles and pivots. Requirements we are looking for: Portfolio showing DTC or Performance Marketing copywriting. Understanding of 'The Big Idea,' 'Problem/Solution,' and 'AIDA' frameworks. Ability to write in a conversational, “un-marketing” tone that feels like a friend’s recommendation—whether in a 30-second script or a 2,000-word advertorial. A working understanding of how the ad → prelander → PDP → checkout sequence operates as a single conversion system, and how copy choices earlier in the funnel affect conversion later. Speed: You can churn out high-quality scripts and long-form copy on tight turnarounds. Qualities that are Nice to have: Experience with DTC or UGC-style ads Experience writing compliant copy in regulated categories (supplements, health, finance) where claim language matters. Working Hours: Async-First We are a global, remote team. We don’t care when you do the work, provided deadlines are met and the quality is top-tier. We do ask for a few hours of overlap with US-based EST working hours each day to facilitate team meetings and Slack communication.
