As a Live Chat Customer Service Advisor, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional support to our customers, leveraging cutting-edge technology to resolve complex issues and exceed customer expectations.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

* Resolve end-user inquiries through live chat and web-based interactions, utilizing multiple technologies to provide accurate and timely responses.

  • Provide complete and accurate information to customers on every live chat interaction, researching account activity and notes promptly and efficiently.
  • Handle and resolve situations with customers in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist management with special projects related to customer service, contributing to the development of new processes and procedures.
  • Respond to all inbound chats and assist management for the entire shift, excluding assigned break times.
  • Handle multiple job tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and escalating issues in a timely manner.

The Candidate:

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional support. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 months of live chat experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • The ability to pass a typing speed test and type 50 WPM, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 1 year of professional customer service experience, preferably in a large Call Center environment as a chat agent.
  • The ability to sit and work at a desk and on the computer for extended periods, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free work environment.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to CEF B2 level or above).
  • A high school diploma or GED, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • The ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on call center needs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet, with basic data entry and word processing skills.
  • Residency within an approved state (AL, AR, GA, IN, KY, LA, MS, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WI, WV).
  • A high-speed internet connection (Cable, Fiber, DSL) with the following requirements:

+ 40 Mbps Download + 15 Mbps Upload + 100ms Ping or less + Jitter: 40 MS or less + Hardwired Connection + Wired connection from the modem/router to the device, no splits/gaps or usage of Wi-Fi bridges

Preferred Skills:

* A college degree or some level of college completed, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.

  • The ability to easily operate a computer and adapt quickly to software applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to provide supporting help documentation.
  • A commitment to quality and service matrix, with a strong sense of teamwork and customer-centricity.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with a strong sense of customer service and enthusiastic, energetic, and professional behavior.

Compensation and Benefits:

As a Live Chat Customer Service Advisor at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $12/hour. We use national and industry-specific survey data to determine compensation, considering factors such as external market rate, budget for the role, and the compensation rates of current employees performing the same function. Some roles may have variable pay.
