Experienced Chat Administrator – Remote Community Moderator and Discord Server Manager

Job Description:

As a Chat Administrator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to our community guidelines
• Deleting messages that violate our rules, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotion + Harassment or bullying + Inappropriate content or links

• Banning users who repeatedly violate our rules, after thorough investigation and review
• Muting users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruption
• Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking necessary actions
• Managing our team of Chat Moderators, providing guidance and support as needed
• Taking charge of the Discord server when higher levels of management are not present, ensuring that the community remains safe and respectful

Pay and Benefits:

* Hourly rate: $14.50

• Pay cycle: Weekly, starting from Monday and ending on Sunday
• Flexible remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from anywhere with a stable internet connection

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years old

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and mediate disputes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Discord and its features, or willingness to learn
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of online safety and security best practices
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in community management, moderation, or customer service

• Knowledge of community guidelines and moderation best practices
• Familiarity with arenaflex's mission, values, and services
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
