Job Overview

As a Billing Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Completing all necessary encounters for various practices, ensuring accurate data entry in the appropriate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Managing the referral process for optometrists by entering referrals from the EHR into Salesforce.
• Performing benefits verification prior to sending information to the Enrollment Manager.
• Addressing tickets related to Out-of-Pocket (OOP) costs as generated by the Customer Care (CC) team.
• Responding to eligibility-related questions from the Enrollment Team as needed, utilizing EHR data.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 1 year of administrative, data entry, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, with experience in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Typing speed of 30-40 words per minute.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably NexTech or Athena.
• Experience with clinical data entry (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Salesforce (Preferred).
• Knowledge of full cycle billing or coding processes (Preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry.

• Ability to maintain focus in a repetitive work environment.
• Capacity to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
• Effective time management skills while working remotely.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment

arenaflex is pleased to provide a remote working environment for its team members. In order to perform the essential functions of this job, remote connectivity is essential. You will need a dedicated remote workspace with either a cable or fiber optic internet connection offering a minimum of 50 Mbps of download speed and 10 Mbps of upload speed of dedicated internet bandwidth for each person asking your network.
