What You'll Do

As a Care Advocate, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals who are seeking help and support. You'll proactively reach out to them via phone to offer guidance, resources, and connection to the support they need to thrive. You'll work closely with a collaborative team of people who share your passion for making a difference, and together, you'll improve the lives of millions of people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various tech tools to enhance your work and make a greater impact
  • Facilitate and navigate tough or emotional conversations with empathy and compassion
  • Build relationships and trust through conversations
  • Meet key performance metrics and goals, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a talented and dedicated individual who is passionate about improving lives and making a positive impact on the world. You'll be a natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, particularly over the phone. You'll be a problem-solver with a creative approach to challenges, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. You'll be a team player who is committed to collaboration and open communication.

Essential Qualifications:

* At least 1-year of outbound customer experience in a call center, claims, benefits, fundraising, or healthcare scheduling practices

  • Passionate about mental health and emotional wellbeing, behavioral health, community outreach, resources, healthcare, or active volunteerism
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly over the phone
  • Ability to work independently, proactively take ownership of key tasks, and keep in regular communication with your team
  • Ability to build relationships and trust through conversations
  • Detail-oriented and committed to getting the job done
  • Time management guru with the ability to efficiently move through a to-do list and effectively prioritize and triage competing demands

Preferred Qualifications:

* College graduate or Associate's degree in a customer-related field

  • Experience working in a high call volume environment
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and tools
  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
