Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases. You will be responsible for gathering information from various sources, including employees, departments, and clients, and entering it into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our data management processes.

Responsibilities

The following are the key responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk position:

  • Gathering and Organizing Information: Gather reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients, and organize them in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing.
  • Data Entry and Verification: Enter and update information into relevant databases, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Identify and correct errors, and bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.
  • Spreadsheet Creation and Maintenance: Create accurate spreadsheets and maintain them in a timely and organized manner.
  • Data Backup and Storage: Ensure that data is backed up regularly and stored in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with employees, departments, and clients to gather information and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as required by the team or management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
  • Language Skills: Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Software Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, including proficiency in touch typing
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, departments, and clients
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
